Refund policy
Last updated November 2, 2026
- Cancel a monthly or yearly plan any time; it stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- We don't refund part of a period, except where the law requires it.
- A Project pass is refundable within 14 days if the project hasn't been used for a shoot day.
- Charges made by mistake are always refunded.
Monthly and yearly plans
You can cancel any time from Plan and billing in ShootSlate. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and then your account moves to the Free plan. Your projects stay. We don't refund the unused part of a monthly or yearly period, except where the law requires it.
Project pass
A Project pass can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of buying it and the project hasn't yet been used for a shoot day, meaning no call sheets have been sent and no day has been logged on set. After that, the pass isn't refundable.
Mistakes and problems
If you're charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged the wrong amount, we'll refund the extra charge in full. If ShootSlate has a serious problem that stops you using a paid feature, write to us and we'll put it right, including a proportionate refund where it's fair.
How to ask
Write to hello@shootslate.com from the email address on your account, and tell us what the refund is for. We'll answer within 5 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
This policy is part of our terms of service. Nothing in it limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
